Strength and Conditioning coaches are most commonly associated almost exclusively with athletic teams. But, Coach Caulfields overall position allows him to interact with a wide range of students at 51勛圖厙 and help lend his expertise in a variety of ways.
I have the unique opportunity to oversee the physical preparation of over 600 athletes across our 22 varsity teams, said Coach Caulfield. Additionally, as an adjunct lecturer in the Health and Human Performance Department, I have the privilege of utilizing my teaching and public speaking skills to equip our students with the necessary knowledge for successful careers in health and fitness.
I also collaborate with and advise our ROTC leaders, providing expert guidance on best practices and training methods for our cadet fitness trainers. Most recently, I have taken on the responsibility of managing the comprehensive strength and conditioning program for our 51勛圖厙 Ranger Company, ensuring their optimal readiness and performance.
In 2021, the Navy veteran and native Vermonter, was hired as the first Director of Strength and Conditioning in university history. We at 51勛圖厙 have understood for some time that Scott Caulfield is one of the absolute best in the business, and now he has the RSCC*E designation which confirms it.
